The BOOM+ Ultra Trail Series is a five-event trail running competition with a total prize value of RM 60,000. Participants earn points for their performance in each event, calculated by the BOOM+ Ultra Trail Points System based on time and distance. These points accumulate across the series, leading to a grand champion at the end.
The competition offers two categories: the Legend category for veterans and the Overall Champion category open to all, ensuring a thrilling event for all.

Ultra Trail Series Events
5 Locations with its own unique terrains
Revitalized in 2022, the Merapoh Trail Running (MRT) series welcomes global trail runners to explore Merapoh's caves and trails, promoting local tourism and cave conservation efforts against threats like cement production and logging.
MRT offers trail running categories ranging from 25km to 100 miles, featuring iconic caves, refreshing rivers, and a beginner-friendly course, all with respective generous cut-off times.

Janda Baik Ultra 2023 consist of four trail categories; 100km, 50km, 30km and 16km. Be mesmerised by the lushy green mountain scenery and natural tropical rain forest that Janda Baik has to offer throughout the route.
Janda Baik is a small Malay village in Bentong, geographically located in the state of Pahang, Malaysia. This picturesque village is located about 30km away from Kuala Lumpur that you will get to enjoy cool breezing tropical climate of average 21°C (night) to 28°C (day).
